good things come to those who wait...
although i have to admit, i rarely ever wait patiently; i was pleasantly surprised to see that my stats333 mark was online already. i did better than i had anticipated, far better than i ever thought i'd achieve in the class during the first week, but i guess studying does pay off in the end. A+. yep. i feel special, and not in the "short-bus" way for a change too!!!!!
the other good news, i'm just full of it today indeed, is that i have finally landed myself an ambulance job. bout freakin time, seeing how i have been applying for awhile... but not only did i get the first one i interviewed for, but every one is calling now too! so maybe i can fit in some casual hours.... i got hired full time for the summer, cant ask for anything better, plus my accomodations are supplied during my tour. wow. fantastic. but... as usual there's a few draw backs, like, the distance... it's north of edmonton. which means terry and i got lost on our way up, our way out, and then it took us over an hour to find our way out of edmonton (streets with signs + a map with typos = freakin hellish road trip)but we got out in the end, safe and sound, not in accidents, nor causing any to come about.... although i almost got stuck in an intersection, lol.
other draw backs, other than the distance, is that since i will be bouncing around the different municipalities which the company supplies, terry wont be coming with me, as in we're not moving yet, and ya, that kinda really sucks ass. but at least i can come home every 6 or so days and see him, compared to last summer where it was only twice in three months that we saw each other.
well, this is looking long winded.... have a good one!!!
