critters oh my!

well, since moving into a larger place, terry and i have been thinkin about more pets. we already have another fish tank since we got here (just goldfish, nothing fancy) so that's 4 tanks... and now we have 3 cats. on saturday i went to edmonton and picked up a little orange and white baby boy. he's 10 weeks old now, and sweet as can be. he really is the suckiest thing, rivaling freya in honey factor!
it has certainly been an interesting house the last few days as freya and sabbath get used to another cat. freya's still mad at me i think.

this is freya's reaction to the kitten. she stayed in that closet for the better part of 5 days. but she's out and about now. and still pissy.

long time, no post

wow
now here is a screen i havent seen in awhile. been up in Redwater now for a bit, and both terry and i love it. all the nice-ities of a small town, with edmonton right by us, less than an hour to get there. such an improvement over medicine hat in so many ways. work is steady, they keep me busy. but since i am such a freakin white cloud, there are some pretty quiet shifts. that doesnt seem to change no matter where i go! lol.
another great thing about having edmonton close by, other than real shopping, is the fact that many gigs happen there. 2 weeks ago, terry and i went to see Sons of Butcher, and the following week we got to see DOA. I got pretty beat up in the pit at doa, but it was so worth it!
next we're hoping to score some nhl tickets to see edmonton play at rexall place. the biggest benefit of that is that friends of ours live like 2 blocks from the arena. we have a place to stay anytime we want to go.
i'm still doing school work too, which takes up alot of my spare time, so perhaps i can use that as an excuse for not updating this blog too often! lol. or that i dont have alot of really interesting things to say.... just the usual work-eat-sleep-repeat routine!
